God Is With You

Would you like to always have someone with you? Do you want someone to guide you? Do you want someone who will provide for you? Do you want someone who will protect you? Are you looking in the right direction?

We all want guidance from time-to-time. We all need someone who will have our back on occasion. We all need someone who will provide for us when we are children and sometimes during our adult life. All of these are worldly needs.

We also need all these things in our spiritual life. We need them each and every day. We don’t often look for them and especially won’t look to the right person to provide them. Yet, He is always there, waiting for us to look to Him.

God provides us with all we need to carry out His will for our lives. It is when we get off the path He has laid out for us that we find ourselves wanting. God desires to provide for, protect, and guide us through this life. He wants us to choose Him over the world.

We know Satan is pulling at us. He is tempting us with shiny objects. But when we hold on to Jesus and turn our backs on Satan, Jesus will always be there to give us what we need. When we are fearful, Jesus will give us courage. When we are anxious, Jesus will give us calm. When we are angry, Jesus will give us peace.

As David wrote in Psalm 23, we can take comfort in knowing God is always with us. We can look forward to blessings being showered down on us. We can be confident we will spend eternity in the house of the Lord forever.

I pray we all pursue the path God has laid out for us. I pray we look forward to blessings from God. I pray each one of us will find comfort and confidence in knowing we will spend eternity with God. Follow God’s path for you. Trust He is always with you. Lean on Him for guidance. Be confident in God’s promise that you will live with Him forever.

Psalm 23:1-3

The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

he refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths

for his name’s sake.
