Are you seeking to live life to the fullest? Do you feel like something is missing from your life? Do you desire to be rejuvenated? Are you feeling blah, depressed, or even dead in some ways? Do you feel like you are failing? Do you want confirmation your sins are forgiven?
Life can be dull at times. We can be down in the doldrums. We can be stuck in a rut and desire some excitement or be reenergized. That rut may include committing sin again and again, and needing, not only to be forgiven, but a spiritual renewal that gives us reassurance.
When we are stuck in the doldrums and are depressed, it can be a challenge to see beyond the fog. We must remind ourselves that we are dead to sin and alive in the spirit. For it is the Holy Spirit, who lives within us, who guides us in righteousness. We have the same Spirit living within us who raised Jesus from the dead, and he will raise us, too.
It is the Holy Spirit who gives us life. He is the power of God who is with us every moment of every day. He will transform us as we listen to him and follow his guidance. The Holy Spirit does not merely give physical life but renews our hearts and minds. He removes the fog, showing us the brightness of the Son. It is the Holy Spirt who reminds us of the promises of God.
The power of God is with us. It is our choice to accept it. Though we cannot control God’s power, we can feel it and live within it each day. For the Holy Spirit gives us life and provides us with all we need to live the righteous life we are created to live. Therefore, be confident in your life because the Holy Spirit is with you.
I pray we all know we can escape the doldrums. I pray we seek to feel the power of the Holy Spirit. I pray each one of us knows we are forgiven and live the life of righteousness in the power of God. Escape the doldrums. Feel the power of the Holy Spirit. Live the righteous life.
Romans 8:10-11 But if Christ is in you, then the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.
