Jesus Performs Miracles

Have you trusted God to do something you know you cannot do on your own? Have you seen God move in ways that can only be called a miracle? Were you amazed? Did it increase your confidence in God? As you remember that time, does it give you hope during times of need?

When we find ourselves in a situation we know we cannot solve on our own, we can become depressed. We can also choose to trust God to work in those situations. We may see God do something we don’t expect. We may see him perform a miracle. We simply need to trust him.

I have personally seen God do things that I would call a miracle. He worked in ways that I did not expect, and I could not do on my own. I can remember one specific potluck luncheon. I thought there was not near enough food. For whatever reason, people did not bring dishes to share. I was sure we could not feed everyone. Yet, when everyone had gotten their fill, some going back for seconds, there was food left over. Some of us compared it to Jesus feeding the five thousand, though we did not have near that many people attending.

Jesus never let human circumstances nor human limitations stop Him. He still does not today. He can overcome any situation we find ourselves in. He still works miracles. He makes food go further than we expect. He softens hardened hearts. He heals wounded people. He pulls people out of obscurity and promotes them for His purposes. Jesus is still a miracle worker, and we are to trust Him with everything.

I pray we all know Jesus can overcome every situation. I pray we trust Jesus to work in our lives. I pray each one of us will invite Jesus into our daily lives and those times when we cannot solve the problem before us. Jesus can overcome. Trust Jesus. Invite Jesus in. Ask Jesus to solve your problems.

Matthew 14:19 Then he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven and blessed and broke the loaves and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.
